AIM:

The aim of this assessment is for students to demonstrate an ability to locate and appraise literature that informs nursing practice related to contemporary issues in international nursing. This task also allows students to demonstrate analysis and academic writing skills.

TASK: To present an Annotated Bibliography of three papers (research paper or report) on a specific topic:

1. For this assessment item you are required to choose ONE (1) only if the following international nursing topics: 

• Global Nursing Migration or
• Disaster Nursing or
•  Pandemic management or
• Threats or Stress in the workplace or
• Advancing the role of the nurse

*NB Health information technology is the focus of the poster and therefore not included as an option for this assessment piece.

2. Locate three (3) current journal articles (less than 6 years old) on one of the above topics

  you need to further select a specific area of interest related to your topic (You will be given assistance to select these journal articles during the computer lab tutorial sessions).

3. Write a brief Introduction to your Annotated Bibliography
