PART II
a) Select appropriate sizes in Grade S275JR steel and perform sufficient calculations to ensure structural adequacy of the principal elements comprises Main Beam B1, Secondary Beam B2, Column C1 and Beam–to–Column Connection J1 as shown in Figures 2 to 4. b) Due considerations should be given to lateral–torsional buckling resistance of the main beam because the floor slab is spanning in the same direction, and it may not be able to fully restrain the main beam. In addition, considerations should also be given to ensure there are no excessive floor deflections due to the beam long spans. PART III
