Introduction and background:

• you should include a detailed discussion of the reasons for conducting your research topic and
• indicate contribution to knowledge and beneficiaries of your research.

Aim and objectives of your research project:

• you should include an introduction to your research topic
• the aim and objectives should be clearly and concisely presented.
• Can use eg RO1 Research Objective 1 etc

Literature review:

1. you should include a summary literature review
2. * linked to your research objectives (ie for each RO, what your journals, theories etc covered on this RO)

Research design and research methodology:

1. * you should indicate clearly the kinds of data your research will require (justify why?)
2. the sources and data collection methods to be employed and justify

Findings and analysis: 

• provide an overview of how you plan to analyse both your secondary and primary data (most from secondary – if RO can only be from primary, state so)
• * link to the ROs

Conclusions:

provide your key conclusions so far from your secondary research and possible primary research
