The BML701 summative report asks HR and OD students to show why reading the context matters: you scan the external environment with PESTLE, examine internal factors through the 6Ps, apply theory to a case organisation and run a cost-benefit analysis of how HR and OD support a transformational change or innovation. In Singapore, many students build on the case they presented earlier, such as an F&B business facing long hours, a labour crunch and calls for a four-day week.
