Assignment Details:

Write a program to track and maintain a user’s revision history of English words and save the history in a file named “history.txt”. The program has two main data manipulation tasks:

• Add a word into “history.txt”: if the word does not exist in the history, add this word and one example sentence; otherwise, display the existing example sentence(s) and give the user an option to add one example sentence.
• Revise a word in “history.txt”: Display the chosen word and associated example sentence(s). The user has the option to choose the word based on the latest revision time or the number of revisions made to the word.

(a) Develop your code in “gba.py” and apply functions to organize your code. Note that third-party library is not allowed. The program should have sufficient comments to describe the corresponding code steps and logics.

(i) Provide in the report the screenshots of the output when testing your code in each scenario of the two tasks. (10 marks)
(ii) Submit to Canvas your code “gba.py” and the generated history file “history.txt”. (50 marks)

(b) Describe your functions using the following table template. Note that the information in the table is for illustration purpose only.

(c) Analyse the logic and flow of the task “adding a word”, and describe the steps using a flowchart. (15 marks)

(d) Suggest some other features you think could be useful to help the user track the revision history of English words. Describe your proposed solution. (15 marks)
