Instructions on Assessment:

This is a seen examination. The scenarios will be released on BBU 4 weeks before the exam.

• You will choose from one of three case studies to answer 3 questions.
• The case studies will all be linked to the module content and your answers will demonstrate module learning outcomes.
• You will have 1 hour to complete the assessment.
• You will be expected to support your answers by engaging in critical discussion of the contemporary evidence base.

• Critically analyse the political and global context of ageing, and theories of ageing.
• Develop a critical understanding of the importance of working within both multidisciplinary and unidisciplinary contexts.
• Critically examine gerontological assessment skills and competence in clinical application.

• Critically analyse gerontological evidence-based approaches and their applicability to older people across a range of care settings.
