Part A: Business Plan (60%)

You are the business owner of a Quantity Surveying Consultancy firm. With the changes in the real estate industry, you realised that it is of paramount importance that the old ways of “getting business” must change. However, you are aware that funds are needed to inject some fresh ideas to align with your new direction.

As a guide, you should consider services such as providing consultancy to construction companies; providing technology-related products or services and your plan should include the following concepts associated with business planning, for example, but not limited to:
2. Strategic thrust, Strategy Assessment of the environment (PESTEL or STEEP, Strategic Choices, Strategic Implementation.
3. Performance Management Systems (OMS) – financial, behavioural and carbon emission etc…
4. Environment Management System (EMS) – consideration of the impact of the company of the environment.

You should provide real evidence such as including primary or secondary date to support your choices, where possible. The academic and technical references, used to create the report should be included within the appendices of the Business Plan, to demonstrate your reading around the subject.
