(1) Business Case Section

You are to discuss the existing nature of compensation in start-up companies in Singapore and justify why a robust compensation system is essential for such start-ups.

(2) Methodology Section

You are to select a local start-up company and analyse the effectiveness of their Job- based or a Skill-based Pay Structures. Either one structure is acceptable.

(3) Findings and Analysis Section

You are to assess how such a compensation system will be able to help address motivational issues for start-up employees. You can cite just one motivational model here.

(4) Recommendation Section

You are to provide suggestions (not more than three) on how to structure an internationally competitive Benefits System that would support the success of start-ups in Singapore.

(5) Executive Summary, Introduction, Conclusion, illustrations and proper referencing are needed for an academic assignment.

Requirements

• This report is to be done individually.
• Word count 2,500 to 3,500 (non-negotiable). This word limit is counted only from the Introduction to the Conclusion.
