Globalization has opened countries across the world to each other and created a massive movement of people into urbanized cities. For example, at the beginning of the 20th century which had remarkable urbanization the population in cities increased by almost 30%.
Additionally, it is known that more than 3.3 billion people in the world live in urban cities. This phenomenon will be particularly detrimental in Africa and Asia regions, where the urban population growth is expected to double by 2030. Therefore, it is crucial for the cities to emphasize their transportation and housing development of urban planning.
