1.Empathy
In your team, conduct research and gather insights about the current campus experience.
This can involve surveys, interviews, observations, and data analysis. Empathise with the different stakeholders (e.g. students, lecturers, staff, contractors, tenants etc.)
Tools: Empathy Maps, Interviews, Customer Journey Map, Observations etc.
Note: Research is to be done outside of your group (i.e. you are not allowed to interview your own teammates)
2.Define the Problem/Challenge
Based on the research findings, each team should identify and define a specific problem or challenge related to the campus experience. They should clearly articulate the problem statement and its significance.

3.Ideation:
Teams should brainstorm and generate a wide range of ideas to address the defined problem/challenge. The ideas can be represented visually using sketches, diagrams, or other forms of visualisation. Clearly show/document all the ideas generated (at least 10), the tools/techniques used and how the final idea was chosen by the team.

4.Prototype & Test
Select the most promising ideas and develop quick prototypes. Teams can decide on the tool(s) for prototyping (e.g. sketches, models, story boards etc.) to create tangible representations of their solutions. The prototypes should be used to gather feedback and iterate on the designs.
Conduct user testing sessions where teams present their prototypes to potential users. Collect feedback and observations to evaluate the usability, desirability, and effectiveness of the proposed solutions.
5.Reflection & Learning
All team members to individually answer the following 3 questions:
5.1) What did you learn from this experience? Would you want to do this again?Why?
5.2) How well did you work with your group? What is one thing you would do differently when working with them again?
5.3) Which phase in the Design Thinking process was the best for you and why?
