Examine existing literature and online tools to identify security threats and appropriate countermeasures: Informatics Thesis, NUS, Singapore

The main objective of the thesis is to define potential security problems with mobile payments, determine available countermeasures, and test them on the basis of an application for prototype payment. The security goal will be based on the following security functions, in accordance with these objectives.
The partial goals of the thesis areas:

• Examine existing literature and online tools to identify security threats and appropriate countermeasures.
• Choose global security threats with a suggested solution to defend against them or mitigate safety risks.
• Develop mobile prototype payment transactions with selected security features.
• Test and evaluate the prototype payment transaction.
