Title: Unobtrusive supervision of activities of daily living using smart devices
Objective: To develop software for Android smartphones for analyzing human motor behavior in the execution of activities of daily living
Scope: The development of assistive technologies requires accurate knowledge of human emotions in daily life. Such knowledge is needed to answer such questions as which are the most arm gestures/motions? What kind of tasks is the most recurrent? The answers to such questions provide valuable input for the design of novel robotic assistive devices. This project will develop an app for Android to turn smartphones into an unobtrusive motion detectors.
Prerequisites: Programming; knowledge of Android programming would help, but not mandatory
