Requirements

Learners are to analyze the decision-making processes behind shipping a pallet per month of ambient -temperature packaged food from Singapore to a city-center location in Shanghai, China, over a period of one year.

Each shipment comprises of a pallet of special Singapore flavor snacks with the following dimensions and weight information:

i. H100cm x L100cm x W120cm
ii. 100kg

The report should cover the following areas:

1. Possible transport modes that may be used for the journey.
2. Possible routes that could be taken by listing the various nodes or terminals to its final destination.
3. An evaluation of the trade-off between each transport (e.g. air freight & sea freight) by considering the following selection determinants:
