(b) P&G has defined 5 Measures of Noticeable Superiority, which create competitive advantage and have a visible impact on its 5 key Business Success Metrics (Business Performance Measures). Explain how each of these Measures of Noticeable Superiority can influence each of the key Business Success Metrics. In other words, how can the key Business Success Metrics provide insights into the Measures of Noticeable Superiority? You may choose one (1) product line of P&G as an example to illustrate your point. (10 marks)

(c) Explain which Balanced Scorecard Perspective these measures belong to. Define and explain possible Business Success Metrics (Business Performance Measures) which fall under other Balanced Scorecard Perspectives. Suggest a chart for each of these measures. (14 marks)

(d) How do you think P&G can make use of the 5 key Business Success Metrics (Business Performance Measures) mentioned in Q1(b) to achieve its Strategic Objectives? (10 marks)

(f) Discuss P&G’s business intelligence and data analytics initiatives. What are the advantages of operating data analytics activities as a centralized service, especially with regard to corporate strategy? From a Balanced Scorecard Perspective, discuss and evaluate how the Decision Cockpit facilitate the implementation of Business Sufficiency Models? (g) Imagine that you are the Director of Information and Decision Solutions (IDS) at P&G. The 2018 Annual Meeting of Shareholders is going to be held soon in a Business Sphere meeting room at P&G’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. How would you design and develop a Business Performance Dashboard as part of the Decision Cockpit, and display it on the large screens inside the Business Sphere, in order to clearly show P&G’s 2018 financial highlights to shareholders? Your Business Performance Dashboard should at least contain one chart for EACH of the 5 key Business Success Metrics (Business Performance Measures) mentioned in Question 1(b). Provide screenshots of the dashboard and charts in your report and store your Business Performance Dashboard in a single Tableau workbook file with extracted data named “GBAZ.twbx”, where Z denotes the GBA group number.
