Review of an Organization’s WSH Policy Learners should use Their Own Organizational WSH policy (please attach a copy in the assignment submission) for review except in cases where Such Policy is not Available: WSH Management System Implementation Plan Assignment, WS, Singapore

The learner is to compile a leaming portfolio based on what was learned in class and applicable to their organization. In the case in which the leader does not belong to any organization, a selected actual or simulated organization may be assigned to the learner for the completion of this assignment.

In any case, the candidate should provide a brief description (such as the nature, type of industry, company sizes, key operations, and WSH risks, etc) of the organization involved. The answers given should demonstrate the candidate’s ability to apply what was learned in class to their organization, and not reproducing the contents in the training materials in this written assessment. The portfolio shall include the following:

1. A review of an organization’s WSH Policy. Learners should use their own organizational WSH policy (please attach a copy in the assignment submission) for review except in cases where such policy is not available. The review should include at least two improvement recommendations/comments so that it will better meet the relevant SS506 and organizational requirements. (PS1)

2. Set at least 2 WSH objectives for the organization. These shall include the full description of objectives statements and an illustration of alignment with the organizational WSH policy. (PS3)

3. Formulate a WSH management program framework for the organization that enable the achievement of the WSH objectives or the organization and in alignment with WSH policy (PS4)

4. Provide an outline of a framework for the organizational emergency preparedness and response plan. (Note: learners are not required to submit a full emergency response plan.) (PS5)

5. Recommend at least 2 performance measurements and monitoring procedures to measure and monitor WSH performance. These shall include at least one reactive and one proactive measurement and should be aligned with the objective in item 2 above. (PS7)

6. Provide an outline of the accident/incident investigation and reporting process applicable to the organization. This may take the form of a flowchart, accident reporting/investigation form, etc. (PS8)

7. Submit an internal audit program and an internal audit plan in the organization’s preparation for the bizSAFE Star certification. (PS9)

8. Submit a WSH management system implementation plan for the organization. The plan should cover the elements of the WSH management system to be implemented. Learners may use the template attached hereto develop the implementation plan. Describe how you would present the implementation plan to at least 3 types of relevant stakeholders. (PS10)

9. Propose an agenda for the Management Review Meeting for your organization in preparation for the SS506 OSH Management System certification. You should list the designations of the persons (stakeholders) that should be present in the meeting and subject matters to be reviewed.
